Outer 1860 with 1d red star letters AC with "Posted since 7 last night" duplex 131 roller cancel. Datestamp has "seriffed letters" variety and EDINr variety (type 1b). Letter posted on a Sunday. Note the pic of reverse with a fantastic wax weal with stunning calligraphy "M and M" monogram (cut to open letter)!

Italy - massive parcel piece from Italy to Mildura "Contains Mineral sample for gift". Contains 7 copies of SG2896 the €2,80 Lace Making Textile stamps, plus 12 x €3,00 SG2742, and a block of 10 of the €0,02 Women in Art issue SG2706. Face Value of stamps is €55,80, cat value is £150. A bit battered, but an impressive high postage value parcel front.
