On reverse it says issued 1 Mar 1944, "You are warned to report to Trantit Section Camp Pell at 0800 hours 28 Mar 1944. A fascinating piece of social history!

Piece with 8 x ½d bantams plate 14 including strip of 5 JB-JF, pr HD-HE and single HF. All cancelled by B16 being the TPO for the Plymouth to Bristol line for Foreign Mails. Backstamp is a portion of a PLYMOUTH CDS dated SP 12 codes M I. The cheapest cancel on the list says £125, so total cat min £1560. So wish it was complete, but nonetheless a rare and valuable piece

Piece only (no address) 1857 with 1d red Star (TL corner cut away) tied by horizontal oval with "16" in diamond (Chigwell Victoria St) HO London thimble datestamp OC-12-1857 in blue (evening duty) and Edinburgh arrival stamp. A real shame the user cut away the address portion of the cover, as it is interesting usage

Piece 1827 Edinburgh to Queensferry with postage rate 4 and "PAID AT EDIN" CDS in red dated JUN 1 1827. Also has 2 wax seal, a large ornate red seal (wording visible says "Scottish Widows" (insurance)) partially covered by a new black wax seal. Reverse of document appears to be a piece of a post mortem declaration by the coroner/surgeon with some rather gruesome questions - "Have you any suspicion of organic affection of the lungs, heart or other organs?"

Part registered outer KEVII 1d + 2d registration, with KEVII set 5d, 4d, 1d and ½d all tied by Skibbereen CDS dated OC 11 06 (one stamp also removed next to 1d Red). Item has 2 wax seals Bank of Ireland Skibbereen. Backstamped "Boston Mass Reg Div. OCT 21 1906". Wish it was a complete envelope, but great markings and very fresh

Backstamp "H&K-PACT" dated OC 10 80, which is the stamp for the packet service by daily sea packet from Hollyhead to Kingston. Type 14/89 from SG Collect British Postmarks 9th Edition. A nice cover

Outer 1879 Edinburgh to Aberdour then Burntisland, with 1d red star pl 215 letters RD tied by Edinburgh duplex cancel 131 code 4N dated JU 12 79. Arrival backstamp Aberdour dated JU 13 79, then redirected to "Shore Road House" with a further backstamp of Burntisland dated JU 14 79. A nice piece with some lovely postmarks!
