Entire 1816 Tain to Edinburgh, with TAIN boxed (mileage removed) in black type 4/64, Edinburgh arrival stamp dated JA-27-1816 in red, with postage rate 2/-½ manuscript marker on front. Front page of the letter has been ripped out, but the general thread of the final page indicates a bill owed by Lord Kincaid for £300, a lot of money back then!
