Early 20th Century Japanese stamps and post cards folder issued by Stanley Gibbons

3 folders received from an estate, not seen any of these before!

Front cover says “Assorted Japanese Stamps and post cards – GUARANTEED GENUINE – imported by S.G. & Co L.”. Each folder is cutely tied with coloured string, and the cover appears to be traditional Japanese Woodblock

Each folder contains 24 19thC issue stamps and 3 post cards. Although a little aging and tone spots exist, they are very nice, and represent the type of marketing that SG used back in those days to develop the hobby.
